'Low' version of Cadet Dinner pictures now there for anyone whose browser has problems with my JavaScript-heavy page.

The last of the Gnome Cadet Dinner pictures are now online (the more observant among you might notice that I said there were 127 pictures, but have only put 69 online, mainly because the others are too boring, have fingers and thumbs in front of the lens, or are too embarrassing or disgusting to put up for public viewing [but I did laugh]). I'll tidy them up and put a simplified version online in the next few days and I've now got a bit of time to revamp the other bits of the site that look a bit tired and neglected.
Starting with the 'And Finally...' pages and the 'hidden' site sections.

Lots more Cadet Dinner pictures on the Gnome pages. I've nearly doubled the number of pictures on the page, there's now 25 of them and I'm not even half way through yet!

New 'intelligent' window sizing script is now fully tested and working on the Gnome pages (only on Burnham Week pages at the moment but will be added to them all one by one). Now that is working properly I can get on with putting the Cadet Dinner pictures up.
Laser 2 page links updated.
Updated ICQ panels on front page and ICQ page.

I've got some good news for you: I have now got the camera (thanks for saving me there, Mark) and I have all of the pictures from the Dinner, but... there are 127 pictures! So it might take me a bit of time to sort them all out! There are some really embarrassing looking ones in there and I can see a couple of good pictures for the caption competition.
Please feel free to send me an abusive email having a go at my incompetence if you think I'm taking too long. Come back and have a look later this week and if they're not ready by then, you can start ringing me up and harassing me. In the meantime cheer yourself up with a picture of Adam in a bra and knickers.

Sorry people, I know I promised to get the pictures from the Cadet End of Season Dinner and AGM on the site at the beginning of the week, but due to a big mistake on my part they're not ready yet. They should be ready next week, as long as I don't make any more big mistakes. Please feel free to send me an abusive email having a go at my incompetence. Sorry forgot to put the 'low' version of the Gnome's Cadet Week 2000 page online, it's there now for anyone that has trouble with my JavaScript generated windows.
Changes made to stop spiders indexing 'low' pages, but still allow them to follow from 'low' pages.

Massive tidying up of Gnome's Cadet Week 2000 site. All pictures now online, all labels accurate, all thumbnails aligned.

Tons of new photos on the Burnham Week 2000 page and the Cadet Week 2000 page, both in the Gnome's section. Even more photos yet to come for both pages! Some tidying up of background code carried out. Password log in page modified.

More additions to Gnome's Burnham Week page and changes made to a couple of the photo album pages. Photo Album index page changed to CSS. Links added between Gnome pages and photo album pages and vice versa.

First set of new pictures from Burnham Week up on the Gnome site, more pictures and some tidying up will be happening in the next few days, currently concentrating on updating the MYC Cadet pages but will put some effort into these in between. There are also some pictures from MYC Cadet Week 2000 waiting to be put up on both the Gnome's site and the main MYC Cadet web site when get the time.

Sorry, a combination of lots of sailing and concentrating on both keeping jardMail up to date and redesigning it to make a bit of money out of the jardMail site have slowed down updates to this site.

The MYC Cadet web site is now live at: http://www.medwayyachtclub.com/cadetclass/cadet_index.html. Please visit it and give me any feedback on my work, also if any class members have anything to contribute please tell me, or give stuff to me, or whatever.
As the Cadet web pages have only just gone online, they are still under development and still being worked on, the 'work-in-progress' version of them is here, please note that there may be errors or other strange things in this version.

The new front page is finally up there! You'll have to bear with me for a couple of days while I iron out a few glitches and teething errors.
The rest of pages also being overhauled to get more shared files from centralised locations, should mean faster page loading.

All the pictures from the MYC Cadet Pre-Season Dinner are now on the Gnome page!
The new front page is back in testing and actually seems to be working now, it's been trimmed in the mean time and is now a third of the size it was before, hopefully it should be up and working by the beginning of next week.

Alright so it's been about a month since the last update. All I can say is sorry, but now that my other web projects are on the right track, I can take a back seat on them and focus on this site again.
More graphics have been added to the redesigned front page and hopefully it should be live by the end of the week.

Haven't added much to the site lately as I've been concentrating on my commercial web project, you could call it a 'dot-com' but that's a bit passé and it's actually a 'dot-co-dot-uk'.
However I have added the Snake game to the games page, for all of those that asked for it (alright it's not the actual Nokia one (that's got too much security on it to easily nick it).

The banner ad at the bottom of each page has been removed, for faster downloads, even if it does leave me slightly more out of pocket. See how nice I am to you people.

Guest Book page modified so that it now works on browsers that have JavaScript but no Java (before on a browser that has JavaScript switched on, but Java switched off or not installed, any mail would look like it's sent, with no error message, but is never delivered).

The Gnome has been to the Hoo Freezer! The first batch of photos are there to prove it. The next set are coming soon. There is also a link to Wilsonian SC's web site which has the Hoo Freezer results.
Couple more links added to the Laser 2 pages.

Problem with date script and MS Internet Explorer misinterpreting short dates after Y2K (funny how NS didn't have this problem), a Millennium Bug! Resolved by changing getYear call to getFullYear, which returns a consistent 4 digit date in all browsers.
Additional security added to password log in screen.
