Hi,
You probably have this info already, but if you could put it on your front page
that would be great. You seem to have the knack of attracting far - away
attention! It would make a difference if the worlds next year could have even
one entry from oz or NZ etc.
Thanks a million,
Conor,

The 2005 Laser 2 World Championships have been announced!

They will be held simultaneously with CORK Series I, on Lake Ontario, Kingston,
ON, Canada. Dates will be August 19-25, with registration, measurement and
practice racing on the 19th and 20th.

A small amount of charter boats will be made available to non-North American
sailors.

The '05 Worlds will feature a new youth competition built into the event. Those
under 19 choosing to register as youths will race with veterans, but be scored
separately, and compete amongst themselves for youth trophies. Youths and
newbies to the class will be "buddied" with class veterans to regroup every day
after racing, and talk about tactics, techniques and rigging unique to the boat
so we can "share the knowledge," and encourage the young up-and-comers.

To be kept up to date, go to http://www.laser2sailing.org/news/contactform.php
and send your email address, and any charter boat requests to the coordinators,
and you will then be put on an announcement list.

Containering details from Ireland and / or UK will be made available as soon
as we get them!
