Hi all,
This message is intended for anyone who might be interested in doing a Laser
II regional event in Ireland.
The event will be held in Wicklow Sailing Club, only an hour's drive from
the ferry terminals in Dublin and Dun Laoghaire. It'll be on the 30th of
June and the 1st of July.
This is an event which counts for our traveller series and is the closest
event in Ireland for anyone coming from mainland Britain.
We are expecting between 35 and 40 Irish boats.

Due to sponsorship, the entry fee for this event is only £25 (that's Irish
it'd be even less in sterling).
Very importantly, we are planning a big evening on the Saturday night of the
event with a BBQ, a DJ, and a HAPPY HOUR!!!!!! There will also be 14 prizes
plus a possibility of bumper prizes.
We are planning 12 short races in the two days and racing on the Sunday will
finish no later than 2:30pm for those travelling from a far way off.
If anyone is interested in doing this event, I would love to hear from you
so that I would know how many to expect and I am willing to help in
arranging ferries and that sort of thing.
